Landau named to Wolf Transition Team

Delaware County Democratic Party Chairman David Landau is among at least four county residents selected to join Gov.-elect Tom Wolf’s transition team.

Landau will join a 290-member team that includes Upper Darby Councilwoman Sekela Coles, attorney Gerald Lawerence and Anthony Gallagher, the business manager of Steamfitters Local 420.

Landau was selected to a team charged with overseeing the transition in the Department of State. Coles joins the transition team overseeing drug and alcohol programs. Lawerence is part of the insurance transition team and Gallagher is part of the Department of Labor and Industry transition team.

Landau said he was pleased that several Delco residents were selected, saying it shows the county’s importance and should bolster the administration’s relationships here.

“I’m very thrilled to be asked to serve on the transition task for the Department of State,” Landau said. “I look forward to that.”

Landau was unable to go into specifics about his role, citing an ethics pledge all transition members must sign preventing them from detailing their tasks with the media.

    Well, it will take some time to see if the Democrats can and will do the right thing for the State of Penna . and all the people ?
    As far as the Republicans who have been in charge of the State legislature FOR MANY YEARS and have VERY LITTLE OR NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT. If the Republican Party has anything, LETS HEAR IT.
    ALL I SEE IS THE REPUBLICAN PARTY ,,JUST STANDS THERE AND COMPLAINS ABOUT WOLF’S BUDGET PLAN. YOU REPUBLICANS HAD THE LAST 50 YEARS TO DO SOMETHING ,,,,BUT NEVER DID. EXCEPT FIND MORE WAYS TO TAKE THE PUBLIC’S MONEY.

    This special team hand picked by Governor Wolf, what they should be doing is looking at all the POLITICAL CORRUPTION THAT IS IN HARRISBURG AND THEIR IS A WHOLE BUNCH OF IT. I’M SURE THE DEMOCRATS WILL FIND SOME OF THEIR OWN THAT ARE INVOLVED WITH DIRTY TACTICS, JUST LIKE THE REPUBLICANS. IF THEY DID A LOT OF CLEANING UP IN HARRISBURG, MAYBE THE STATE WOULD GET A BETTER RATING THAN THE 5 TH MOST CORRUPT STATE IN THE COUNTRY.

    What does the Transition team do ? Do they come up with some positive idea’s that will stop bankrupting the tax payers and property owners of Penna ? or is it just going to be MORE OF THE SAME DUMB IDEA’S THAT DID NOT WORK BEFORE AND WILL NOT WORK TOMORROW ?
    LET THE TEA PARTY KNOW. IF YOU PEOPLE CANNOT FIX THIS STATE,,STEP DOWN AND MOVE OVER AND LET THE TEA PARTY FIX TWO MAJOR PARTIES SCREW UPS.
